Matt Le Tissier
Sports and Fitness Ambassador
Matt Le Tissier is a legendary figure in English football, celebrated for his extraordinary talent, creativity, and unwavering dedication to Southampton FC, where he proudly spent his entire professional career from 1986 to 2002. Born on 14 October 1968 in Guernsey, Le Tissier is renowned for his exceptional vision, precise passing, and his remarkable ability to score breathtaking goals, often from long range or through dazzling dribbles. Adored by Southampton fans, who affectionately dubbed him “Le God,” he achieved the incredible milestone of becoming the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League. Despite his outstanding ability, Le Tissier’s international career saw just eight caps for England, a circumstance often attributed to his distinctive playing style and deep commitment to his club. After retiring, he transitioned seamlessly into a successful career in punditry, and continues to be an iconic and beloved figure in English football, embodying the spirit of loyalty and flair in the modern game.
As an ambassador at PHA, Matt Le Tissier passionately champions the cause of bodily autonomy. In his role as a spokesperson for PHA, he is committed to empowering individuals to fully understand and assert their rights, inspiring others to take control of their own health and well-being.
