Practitioner Spotlight – Robyn Treen

On this page:

This month we are delighted to shine the spotlight on Robyn Treen.

Robyn has been practicing Qigong for 9 years and teaching for 7 years. The form Robyn teaches is suitable for all ages and abilities, and can be practiced seated or lying down. Qigong coordinates mindful movement, posture and breathing techniques to create balance and harmony, mind, body, and spirit.

Robyn has been part of the PHA family since the beginning, contributing regularly to Wellbeing Wednesdays sharing the wonders of Qigong: https://the-pha.org/resources/webinars#wellbeing-weds

Inspired by the PHA, Robyn is also part of the ‘Hearts of Light’, a group of Holistic Therapists and volunteers, that have joined together and created a cosy, welcoming space for people to gather.

The hold events for people to come along for a chat, have a relaxing Holistic Therapy, join a Qigong and meditation session, and buy Handmade gifts from small businesses. They also have a Counsellor for anyone who may want to have a private consultation.

Some of our regular attendees have felt isolated and lonely, especially after the lockdowns, so they look forward to coming along to see some friendly faces.

Hearts of Light are in Clitheroe at The Quaker House on the 1st Friday of every month, and they also hold Wellbeing & Craft Events in Hyndburn, Burnley, Ribble Valley, East Lancashire.

See Robyn’s listing in our practitioner directory.
