I am a registered nutritional therapist, and offer warm and friendly 1-to-1 consultations at my clinic in Benenden, or remotely, via zoom. I take a ‘whole body’ approach to health issues – focusing on diet, emotional well-being, medical history, and lifestyle factors. I am not simply managing the symptoms of the disease or diagnosis, but focusing on the root cause. If you have a current health issue, or would like to prevent future problems, I can provide support and help you respond to your nutritional and lifestyle needs, creating a plan for long-term success.
Several years ago, my daughter developed chronic fatigue syndrome. A chance conversation led me down the path of ‘alternative therapies’, and I discovered the powerful and life-changing benefits nutrition can have on an individual’s health. From that point, I was hooked! I grew up in a house with an agoraphobic and emotional eater. I understand how emotional well-being and depression can affect not only the person, but also their families and relationships. Luckily, there have been major advances in our understanding of the impact of diet on mental health since then.
I have a special interest in food addiction, emotional eating and mental health, but can support a wide range of health conditions including: fatigue, hormone imbalances, poor immunity, weight management, sleep issues, skin problems, migraines, low mood, digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, cognitive function, fertility and thyroid function.
