Having been a Complementary Therapist for over 20 years, Annie has a wealth of experience and qualifications in many areas of health and wellbeing. Just some of these are listed below:
Anxiety and Sleep
Annie practices as a Stress Consultant and was qualified by Benjamin Brown ND in July 2010 on the subject of Calming Nervous Hyperarousal: Managing Anxiety, Restless Sleep and Fatigue.
Nutrition and Allergy
She is a qualified Nutritionist from the Patrick Holford School of Nutrition, as well as a Kinesiologist who can test for allergies and low tolerances, giving a complete picture of what is happening to your body.
Loss, Grief and Pain Management
Annie worked at Compton Hospice for five years as a Complementary Therapist on the acute ward. She has a deep understanding of complex loss and grief issues, and the ability to help people with end-of- life care and to manage acute and chronic pain.
Annie has an MSc in Education and Psychosexual Support within Complementary Medicine gained in June 2016. She also has a certificate in Medical Education (Cert. Med. Ed). She trained at Porterbrook Sex Clinic based in Sheffield, which is the NHS flagship for Sexology and Transgendering.
She was a Children’s Worker at the Pathway Project – a Women’s Refuge and Empowerment Centre. Funded by Children in Need and Comic Relief, she has a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing the homeless and the marginalised, and supports The Big Issue Foundation.
Annie has been teaching for over 20 years and has achieved Grade 1 Teacher status for three years by a local further education college. She teaches Complementary Medicine and Belly Dance and provides bespoke courses on a wide range of therapies.
Annie’s first book, Orgasmic Health, published in January 2018, and her second book Your Guide to Feeling Fabulous Fast was published in 2021.
