Hub Life
The People’s Health Alliance believes that each community should have access to good, affordable healthcare. Our role is to facilitate the creation of health hubs at community level and provide educational resources for people to understand how to take back power of their own health journey. We do this through partnerships and collaborations with other organisations, aligned with our vision.
We are currently compiling a range of resources and as the hubs evolve, the library will also evolve to include a variety of videos and templates that have proven to work well for others. By creating a strong network of independent hubs that work collaboratively, we can support communities across the UK in a much more efficient way by sharing proven models.
We share everything freely but do ask that anyone using the PHA name and marketing material, are aligned with our Principles
Hubs in the UK and Republic of Ireland
As of January 2023 there are over one hundred individual community groups in the UK wanting to create a health hub in their area. Each hub is established by local communities coming together to offer local health services. Every hub is different according to their local community and run by local people. Hubs may also be at different stages in their evolution, from just starting out, to up and running in their own premises.
If there isn’t a group already set up in your area and you have the skills and time to dedicate to getting one off the ground, then please join our Hub Help Starting Out group and we’d be happy to support you: https://t.me/PHA_hub_help
