Paper Plate Masks
Take a paper plate, draw a bunny or chicken face on it lining up the eye holes. Paint and decorate, then attach string or elastic to the sides so it can be worn.
Paper Chain Decorations
Fold a sheet of coloured paper in a concertina style, then draw bunnies, chicks, flowers or eggs on the folded piece taking care to leave a join by the fold. Cut around shape, making sure to leave fold uncut, open out and pin to wall or a window.

For a quiet activity, try printing off Easter colouring outlines from the computer, and get colouring! Mount on card and cut out ready to stick up as decorations.
Decorating Real Eggs
Try soaking hard boiled eggs in their shells in natural dyes- simmer onions, beetroots, blue berries, turmeric or red cabbage then add eggs overnight. For extra effect, wrap eggs in string or washi tape when soaking, then remove. Coloured food dyes also work well.

Paper Towel Dyed Eggs
Take a cold, hard boiled egg and wrap in a paper towel with a rubber band at the top, then drip food colouring onto it. Then spray lightly with water and leave to dry. Open out and enjoy the results!
